Violent Island was originally founded in January of 2015 by the dedicated front man Alphie R. After playing in many bands for a number of years, Alphie finally realized it was time to take matters in his own hands. During the time the band was founded Alphie wrote, recorded, and produced " Bad Tasting Bubble Gum." Playing all the instruments on all the original tracks. (With the exception of "When I'm Gone" which was later released after members Taichi Hirao and Victor Sosa were introduced.) 

     After Alphie had tricked members Taichi and Victor into joining his pristine rock band, the three eventually settled down and moved in together. They now live happily as they eat, sleep, and breathe music. 

   With the advantages of living together, practicing day in and day out, Violent Island released their second album "Monument In Ruins" late Nov of 2016. With that both Victor and Taichi completely changed the dynamic of the bands personal presents, and over all sound, releasing hit songs like "Blue Birds" along with their hit single "Streetlights" 

     Now with new motive and making an imprint on venues all across the Tri-State area, Violent Island plans on releasing BRAND NEW MUSIC LATER THIS YEAR IN 2017!
